I had high expectations of this Wisconsin chain that features Wisconsin's famed frozen custard and the also well known butter burger. First, mass confusion when I tried to order a plain vanilla dish of frozen custard. I'm assuming most people order the "concrete" which is custard with mix-ins. The texture is very similar to Wisconsin except for numerous ice flakes and the absence of vanilla going for the less expensive artificial flavoring. They'd do better leaving the flavoring out and call it sweet cream because the stuff has a horrendous aftertaste. Alas, Wisconsin and it's myriad of frozen custard stores. I miss you. My arteries don't.

We've never had anything but good experiences here. As with every other Culvers I've ever visited, the staff is really solid. Always friendly and, in the rare instance when a mistake is make, quick to rectify the situation. As others have mentioned, the food is very good. A bit higher priced than the typical fast food joint, but worth it to me. Also, it's easy to get in and out of this location, as it's on the outskirts of The Legends and right off Parallel. Great place!

While the food is good i'm always disappointed in how they handle chicken orders. We walked in today to the whole restaurant being packed including the lobby for ordering. When we made it to the counter my wife and i both asked for fried chicken only to be told there woukd be a 20 min wait. I could understand that during slow periods of business but not with a packed house. Seems like this happens everytime we come in here so i'm about done even trying.

The fish sandwich is fantastic! Be prepared to park and wait for them to bring your food to the car.

I do like me some Culvers, and this location was clean and had friendly staff, but it was just...hmmm...it was okay. I am not sure if this is a change in Culvers as a whole, or just this location, but our portions seemed small. I mean, come on, I need to have 1,000 calories instead of only 800. 'Murica! I ordered a North Atlantic Cod Filet sandwich and it definitely seemed smaller than when I have ordered it previously at other Culvers locations. It was barely half the width of the bun, and really appeared shorter than it used to. My wife's butter burger was thinner than a McDonald's burger. And don't get me wrong, I know their burgers were never huge, but it did seem super thin. For the price, this meal wasn't worth it. I'll have to check out another Culvers location sooner-than-later to see if it's like this.

Can't beat their burgers! Especially for "fast food"! The Pub Grinder Pepper burger is amazing! The place is always clean and staff friendly. They even help local organizations fund raise by donating portions of the sales for volunteering. Right near the Legends and highway access.

I like Culvers. Their cheeseburgers are tops. But, they need to make a veggie burger. Therefore, sometimes I pass on the dead cow meat cause I lean vegetarian, and eat French fries, sometimes onion rings. Enough of that. Maybe an email campaign might change the fact that these places serve no veggie burgers. Now, for their ice cream? I order the ice cream sundae, the caramel cashew to be exact. It arrives. I think it's smaller than the last time. Whole cashews, make it nutty, and the caramel is just enough. Scrumptious. Crowded but not a problem getting a booth. Allergic to ice cream, And I cough and gag all the way home. Their ice cream is amazing. Not much beats it. It's really good. No complaints. I only eat at this Culvers when I go to NFM. The staff is great, the food is good. No veggie burger, 4 stars.

A miracle is created in my mouth every time I visit Culver's and order a butterburger with cheese and pickles. I know butter is terrible for me. I know fried ground beef clogs my arteries, too. But holy cow (truly!), I really do not mind knocking a day or two off my life for ten minutes of taste bud heaven! I only visit Culver's after leaving the dentist's office down the street. It's kind of like when I get my dogs an ice cream cone after getting their shots. A treat to be enjoyed only on occasion. If you haven't tried it, you must. Customer service at this location is always outstanding as well. Yeaaahhh, da Dotte has it goin' on here!

When the Culver's by the Speedway first opened I was extatic, I enjoyed the Butter burger & wanted to stop by everytime I was close. Then things tended to go downhill. Normally I will give a location the benefit of the doubt if I have a great or even good experience the first time, so this location earned some goodwill if you will early on. This goodwill is now fully amortized as I've had increasingly poor experiences there. This isn't for all locations, just this one. First, the experiences: Initially great. The first 2 - 3 times was as expected and the burger, service, and all other food was great. The next time was a different story. The one thing that drives me nuts is an incorrect order. One of the orders that a lot of burger places mess up is giving me a cheeseburger when I clearly order a hamburger & the screen even says No Cheese. Normally I don't find this out until I am well away from the location & don't want to turn around / go back. This is what happened one evening and I found out about 10 min later after I had finished my fries and arrived at my location. I didn't go back for months after that. Then I decided to give them another shot, as this is a common error. This next experience was just ok. The burger wasn't what I'd come to expect from Culver's and I decided I wouldn't go back again. Alas, I found myself out at the speedway with some time to kill over Halloween this year so I gave it one final shot. This one sealed the deal. Although they got my order correct, the lettuce was fairly soggy and the quality of the burger was lacking. So now with several experiences under my belt I have closed the door on this Culver's location as a potential spot. There are several other options out there, and frankly if I'd rather go through the McDonald's than Culver's, then something is wrong. Food: It used to be great, quality was good, it was hot and fresh. This hasn't been my experience the last several times w/ several months between visits. It now lacks most of what once made it great. Price: It's a little more than most of the fast food restaurants, but if the quality was there I wouldn't have a problem with it. Now, it is no longer worth the premium. Ambiance: I've only done the drive-thru so can't comment on the interior. Drive-thru: If you've been to a Culver's before you know the food takes a while, I imagine this is due to them prepping the food fairly fresh. Count on a wait of at lest 5 - 10 minutes after you order and the same for before you order. Rarely have I ever ordered & gotten my food within 10 minutes total time. That is also fine if the burger is worth the wait. Service: I have never had bad service here. The workers have always been polite and seemingly on task. Will I go back to this location? Probably not unless someone else in my party suggests it. I certainly won't suggest it. Maybe I'll give it another try in a couple years. Will I go to another location? If I come across another Culver's I will likely stop, but it has moved down on my list of places.

A'ight y'all. Word up! Sweetea in da house! Listen Dots and all y'all that like to come out to the Legends. Culver's is the bomb. One of the best fast-food burgers one can get in town. The crinkle fries are awesome too. During Lent, I love to have the Walleye dinner. That is some of the best fish-and-chips I have ever had. Here's the other thing...Customer Service is A-Number 1 at Culvers. No surly, rude, inattentive, cursing teenagers. These are all well-behaved, well-mannered, customer-service oriented young people ranging in age from teenagers to older adults. This is a well-supervised place. The line moves quickly. The order comes quickly and precisely. I LOVE this place and will frequent it as much as possible. Culver's keep up the good work and please tell all your employees thank you for such great service and great food!

God if you want an amazing greasy burger this place is so awesome. I love this kind of burger and omg do they have it. Always made exactly how I ask for it. They have added fried cheese curds to their menu and omg if you have not tried these you must must must do so. Also their fries are always that perfect crispy on the outside and soft on the inside that I am looking for. Plus if you want some tasty dessert they have awesome custard. Definetly eat here!

Don;t be afraid to try them b/c they are "fast food"....they have really good salads and soups. What I really like about THIS Culvers is the OWNERS They are a nice retired couple who often work the store and socialize with the diners. They are nice, hard working people who really enjoy what they do. This interest in their business sets them apart and makes this place be just a little nicer than other Culvers. Their ice cream & custard dishes aren't quite a s good and Sheridan;s, however.
